It also contains proteins, alkaloids, essential oils, vitamins A, E, F, B1, B3, B6, biotin, mineral compounds. zinc, selenium, magnesium, calcium, iron, sodium and potassium. Acts against flatulence, supports the activity of the stomach, liver and intestines. Even acts against intestinal parasites. In small doses, it is therefore beneficial to the health of spices. In medicine the seeds are used to treat respiratory problems, allergies, fevers, flu, asthma and emphysema.
